"We had an absolutely wonderful week at the cottage. We were blown away by how beautiful it was that we spent many a day just relaxing and getting some much needed rest. The cottage is comfortable and cosy and so well thought out. Everything you could possible need is there and in keeping with the decor from extra storage baskets in the bedroom to children bath toys and dinner wear.
The facilities are fantastic, even doing the washing was a pleasure. The bathroom is luxurious and the toiletries are high quality and plentiful. The cottage was immaculately clean and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. Basically, everything was fantastic and
we would 100% recommend.
The children were equally at home as we were with toys to play with and ducks to visit. We loved taking them a little supper at sunset, the perfect holiday bedtime routine!
The area is great with a lovely riverside walk into the local town where there are lots of lovely shops and cafes."

"Wow well what can we say! We absolutely loved our stay at Mallard Cottage. The interior is so stunning and it's spotlessly clean. Location was fab with it being 15 minute drive to wells and very much in the middle for everywhere else nowhere felt too far to go. The local pub was lovely very friendly and the park opposite the cottage was great for our daughter's evening wind down. Hannah is a fantastic host and her recommendations were amazing we did nearly all of them, dinner at the bull in was amazing, highly recommend. The welcome basket was so thoughtful with lots of lovely goodies and especially the chocolate bunny for our daughter, the duck food and dog treats! Beds were so comfortable and the bathtub was absolutely unreal. Will be coming back next year! "

"We cannot praise this utterly gorgeous cottage highly enough. Every little thing was thought of and the place was spotless.
It looked like it had sprung from the pages of a
posh catalogue and yet still very homely.
The beds and bedding were dreamlike and if Norfolk hadn’t had so much to offer (helpfully spelt out in suggestions through a host guidebook) I would have happily taken up residence in the deep bath, well stocked with beautiful local products. Hempton itself was a perfect base; the duck pond and common were great to get the kids out for a quick run around and the local pub was super friendly and dangerously close! I can well imagine us coming back time and again."

"This is simply one of the best stays we have had on Airbnb! We have stayed in many homes both in the UK and in Europe but none of them (despite many being managed by super hosts), have matched the experience we had at Hannah’s cottage. Her cottage is absolutely gorgeous in all respects. Her sense of style, comfort, functionality and cosiness really is outstanding. The cottage is exceptionally well equipped and Hannah has thought so carefully about her guests - every room screams quality and luxury. The bathroom was super inviting and spacious and her beds were so comfortable that we have never slept so well! Beautiful outdoor spaces front and back too. One of my children said that he was excited to go to bed because it was so comfortable which was extraordinary. Hannah very helpfully let us check in early which was really appreciated and she provided tonnes of local information and recommendations which was brilliant. I would highly recommend her cottage and will definitely rebook."

"This was possibly one of the best places we have stayed at. We felt at home as soon as we walked in and even my little felt right at ease from the word go. We were welcomed with this beautiful hamper. The cottage was really well decorated/furnished everything from kitchen appliances to linen - top quality stuff! Hannah herself was the perfect host, always responsive an no ask was too big for her. I really wish we had stayed longer. We really hope to return soon and will be recommending Mallard Cottage to all our friends and family. "

"Hannah's cottage is absolutely beautiful and the perfect location for a family trip to Norfolk. We travelled with our 18 month old and whilst heaily pregnant with number two, and found the cottage incredibly comfortable for all of us. The amenities are fantastic for little ones (travel cot, bath mat, highchair) and the decor makes it feel cosy and luxurious for the adults. The cottage is in a great spot to access many different attractions - we loved spending time at Felbrigg Hall, visited Thornham Deli numerous times. and my husband had a morning golf at Royal West Norfolk in Brancaster (plus many others!). Hannah is so responsive, proactive, and thoughtful with her communication and we will absolutely be returning again. Thank you for a lovely break."

"What a beautiful cottage! Very easy to find and check in. It was so cosy and inviting when we arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped, and there was shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom. And a hair dryer in the bedroom. The bed was lovely and comfy. Hannah very thoughtfully left a dog bowl, towel and bags for our dog. Hannah’s guidebook was very informative about the surrounding area. We enjoyed long autumn walks at the beach at Wells-Next-The-Sea and in the woods at Sandringham, and then came back to the cottage and got the fire going! A lovely stay, will certainly be returning."

"Hannah’s gorgeous place is something out of a dream! We first came across this gorgeous cottage via Hannah’s interior social account where we were able to see what the cottage looked like, and it did not disappoint! The cottage is so calm, the area is super quiet and it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. One of the highlights of our trip was feeding the ducks in the pond. The cottage is super dog friendly and Hannah went above and beyond to make our stay special. Thank you so much and we will definitely be back!"
